Paul Proctor
Managing Director
Paul started Link Software on 1st October 2005 after spending 10 years working in the IT and Telecommunications industry. Paul has been involved in the roll out of a number of new technologies and has been developing solutions within SharePoint since Microsoft launched the first version in 2001. Whilst primarily from a sales and management background, Paul also confesses to a rather ‘sad’ interest in the technical side of the company’s products. He has been known to develop the odd SharePoint site himself!
Married with 2 children and living in Sheffield, Paul is committed to continuing the rapid growth of Link Software and establishing the company as a market leader in the development of software solutions based around Microsoft SharePoint with it's related products and technologies.
John Whiteley
Sales Director
John joined Link Software UK Ltd on a full time basis in October 2006. Although involved from the initial conception of the company in 2005, his duties the previous year were on an 'as-and-when' (unpaid!) basis. He is new to the SharePoint and Software arena, but claims to have switched a few computers on all by himself. John's background and previous experience was in Business Telecommunications sales and management, both fixed line and business mobiles.
His wife says they are happily married and he wont argue with that. Living in a badly converted barn in Wilsden, pandering to his daughters every need, he loves nothing more than a good game of squash or racketball – challenges always accepted! John can be contacted on 07970 824841.
Tim Metcalfe
Technical Director
Tim is a seasoned IT professional with over 12 years experience primarily focused on web applications and project management. During that time Tim has worked on numerous IT and software projects for clients in the UK and abroad including British Aerospace, Tate & Lyle, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Bradford Education Authority and many others. For the past 5 years Tim has focused his energies on developing solutions based around Microsoft's ASP.Net technology and Sharepoint. His design philosophy is "keep things simple"; a mantra Tim can be heard telling someone at least once a day!
Tim joined Link Software in March 2006 as Technical Director and has since found himself in at the deep end of numerous Sharepoint and web applications.
